A FIDE world championship brings teams from many countries, and the website is their main source of information: from regulations and registration, through accommodation and travel, to results and announcements during the tournament. The site had to be clear for an international audience, including senior players, and ready for traffic peaks during the event.

FIDE World Senior Team Chess Championships 2024 – Official Event Website
The official website of the FIDE World Senior Team Chess Championships, held in Kraków, Poland in 2024. We designed and delivered the website for an international event serving players, teams and fans from around the world.
Scope of work
- UX/UI design of the event website
- Language versions for international participants
- Team information: regulations, schedule, accommodation
- News and announcements during the tournament
- Deployment and support during the event
The challenge
Our solution
We designed a clear structure where the key information for teams is only a few clicks away, with content that is readable and accessible for older users too. The organisers could publish news and announcements on their own during the tournament.
We supported the organisers both before and during the event, so the site ran without interruption when it mattered most.
